A local school teacher shares from his perspective, what Bill 137 is and how it will look in real school environments.  He will lead us through deconstructing the concept of parents’ rights in order to answer the question, what is this really about? Follow along with his slides here

Torie Aspinall and Michelle Coghill share about their dedication to ending poverty by developing relationships and community.  They have teamed up with a downtown church, Trinity Lutheran, to build affordable homes on what was once their parking lot, and to create a daycare within the church building.

People come to the Hampton Hub for more than the food.  Teach-In Tuesdays is a weekly gathering that features expert guests invited to speak on a variety of topics. Today, Tiro shares what motivates the owners of Hampton Hub to be activists in their community.

Naomi has been an ecological, peace and social justice activist for over 30 years. In addition to being the SK Green Party leader, Naomi is involved with the Inter-Church Uranium Committee and the Craik Sustainable Living Project. The nuclear power industry has been on the decline for many years. Every ten years or so, the industry seems to come up with some new strategy – with the latest being small modular reactors. Most environmental groups, however, recommend against nuclear power and favour wind, solar, geo-thermal and ecologically sound forms of hydro.
